Covered Bridges and their waters- delayed by Irene

My photo uploads for Covered Bridges and their Waters has been delayed do to Hurricane Irene. What an evil witch she proved to be but Vermont has come back swinging!!
I have been busy digging out my basement, trying to locate my hot water heater and furnace while trying to help neighbors and friends who have lost everything.

Covered Bridges and their waters

I set out this morning to photography some barns and bridges. The bridge thing turn into more of a venture then i had planned which was perfectly fine. I found myself veering off one to side roads in had never been on following the "Covered Bridge #.." signs.
The whole thought for this day was a bit of QT by myself for myself with a side note of "If I use to live in Vermont and now don't what could I recall? What would I miss?" So off went. Five hours later and a bit of gas I returned home quiet pleased with myself, although I didn't get any photos of barns.
I one barn that i really wanted to shoot was the one that my grandfather "Bubba" used to take my by on our Sunday drives. However the trees have grow-up around it and its not much to see. The other barn that i wanted to shoot has some strange out of state man in a white NON-windowed van. I chose to skip that one too. The last barn that I wanted to shoot has been repainted and well it just looks awful. So bridges and water it is for today =)
